It had a difficult time when it came across longer-pile carpets as well as some long, thick mess of dried-on debris.
Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro comes ready to come out of the box and needs only an initial mapping session to learn its way around your home. Once that's done the map is displayed in the app and rooms can be added or joined depending on the need. You can set virtual boundaries, as well as no-go zones if there's something you don't want the robot to be able to touch.
