To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. With the L10S Ultra's pricey price tag and extensive functionality, I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. If you're on a budget, I recommend a more basic model that lets you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could purchase but its cost and constant maintenance will make it more of an option than a necessity.

The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a good bit of an area before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.
The application that runs this appliance is fairly dense, with a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually clean the entire area mapped by this device or select individual rooms, an expandable zone or a custom routine you've designed. There are many mopping options, including SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the space.
The Qrevo did well during our tests, just like all the Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system is reliable it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. The 'Normal" pathing settings cover the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too, though it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra.
