Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and mop provide the convenience of cleaning dry debris (dust, dirt) and wet messes (spills and staining) in one go without the need to change devices. They also can save space compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.

A good combination bot will provide excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Look for models that can automatically empty their bin and fill up their water tank, and wash their mopping pads using an appropriate dock.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has plenty to offer for its relatively affordable price and is one of the easiest robots we've tested to install. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and an easy-to-follow guide will have you running with a clean, full dust bag, a hard floor solution and water tank in a matter of minutes.
The S1 Pro is a powerful little machine that mops up a storm and is a great vacuum cleaner too. The mops are spun at a high rate and employ 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to quickly take away pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, as well as a selection of attachments and brushes and an intuitive app that lets you choose the kind of cleaning you'd like to do for each room.
You could, for instance, ask the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly but leave the bedroom in its own space. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It can detect small obstacles that other models can't. The only drawback is that the robot is known to smash into walls and objects at full speed. However looking at the cleaning history on the app will tell you exactly what the robot completed, where it's moving, and what obstacles he has run into or avoided.
The docking station features a handy LCD screen that displays the time when maintenance is required like emptying the debris and cleaning the dirty water tank. It can also mix detergent automatically into the water tank using a 600ml bottle of eufy's own solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long run time. The mop can run for 184 mins in Quiet Mode and the vacuum can last 136 mins in normal mode, before needing to recharge or returning back to the base. The app is easy to use and intuitive and lets you see every aspect of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's flagship robot vacuum and mop, is the most recent version. It's not like the model from last year it comes with two agitators in its mopping pad which greatly improves carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to pick up small hairs and other particles that other robotic cleaners may overlook.
Like the other two Roborock models I've tested it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which can help it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and includes dual cameras that can detect objects, and determine if they're walls or other surfaces. It is able to change its course automatically and clean the objects, without missing a step.
This is the most expensive of the three models I've examined, but it's also packed with features. Its sleek and angular design is eye-catching and it only has three physical buttons that include the power button which also resumes cleaning; a mop button that doubles as a child lock and a home button to send the robot back to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid, you will find the 350ml dust bin as well as a 200ml water tank. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin auto-refills.
The only downside I've found with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. You can change the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount to wash it manually. I've found any plush carpet that the robot crosses will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on mounts, which could cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app is where you can manage and set up these advanced features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. robot vacuum cleaners allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor the battery life and maintain your components. You'll need to jump through a few steps to enable voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how efficient it is otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a leader in the industry with its innovative features, top suction power and advanced mowing abilities. Its innovative design allows for customized and efficient cleaning while reducing time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first one to provide 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is one of the most powerful options available. This powerful vacuum removes the dry mess, which includes pet hair and crumbs. It has a mop of high quality that cleans hard floors without using pads. The X40 is also extremely quiet in operation with only occasional bursts during mode changes or self-maintenance.
Another standout feature is the X40's expandable and liftable side brushes, which lets it get into difficult-to-access corners and clean furniture such as table and chair legs. It can also get under low-profile furnishings which makes it a great option for smaller apartments or condos. The side brush also automatically swivels downwards when it detects wet spots, which is a nice feature that assists the X40 to avoid causing damage to floors by repeated back-andforth movements.
In contrast to other robots that solely focus on one task, the X40 can perform mopping and vacuuming at the same time or individually. It can also be programmed to eliminate areas that have carpet and only mop hard floors, or vice versa. It can be controlled via the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure that voice-controlled operations are smooth and easy.
The app is simple and easy to use and the X40's clever features are simple to install. Users can program the X40 for cleaning at specific times. It is also possible to alter suction power, change modes, view floor plans and maps and control mopping settings. The X40 can also track its progress and notify you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with numerous convenient features, making it a great choice for busy families. The docking station can automatically empty the dustbin and wash the mop pads, then refill them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It can also detect if the mop pad is at its maximum capacity and alert you to the situation prior to it bursting.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models on the market. However, it has several features that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub, which is a new feature on its mop, utilizes two mop heads with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a suction force of 7,000Pa. This is higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. budget robot vacuum can also clean pet hair, small dirt particles and pick up spills and dirt-stained spots.
The mop mops are cleaned and dried in the base station each time they are used. This is a great feature because it prevents the growth of odours and mould in storage, and also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature we haven't seen in other robot vacuum and mop models. It could be a great method to keep your home clean longer.
There's an impressive amount of options available which include the ability to schedule cleaning and adjust a number of different preferences. The app allows you to set these preferences or utilize the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and offers many options to customize the cleaning process, and there are a lot of functions that other robots don't include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power whenever it detects dust particles, instead of relying on a manual setting.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a metallic-white-white finish that looks sophisticated and classy. It's a little heavier than some of the other two-in-one robots in this list - at 4kg - but it's not obscenely heavy, and it feels robust and well built. The mopping system is well-designed and the double-rotating mop is a great choice for hard floors or in corners. They can even extend to 2mm of baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice addition.
